As one of the largest employers in Gibraltar, we are also fully committed to the regeneration of a locally skilled workforce within our community.
Every year, in partnership with the Government of Gibraltar, Gibdock renews this commitment through our apprenticeship training programme, which invites candidates to work towards industrial engineering certification alongside our experienced workforce. Many of Gibdock’s most senior managers today started their working lives as apprentices at the yard.
In addition, we run our own Undergraduate Scheme, offering summer internship experience and support for university students within the naval and engineering sector, together with potential employment opportunities upon qualification.
